At Scaxa, we manufacture standard vertical components using high-quality 48.3mm x 3.2mm EN10219 steel tubes. Each standard includes fixed lower cups at 0.5-meter intervals and rotating top cups, securing up to 4 horizontal components like ledgers or transoms.
Our design ensures structural strength, with narrow bottom cups positioned at least 80mm from the base. We also add a 150mm spigot at the top for seamless vertical connections and provide a lock pin upon request.
A base plate is a flat plate that works as a foundation for vertical components. We always recommend our customers use base plates with universal jacks, especially when creating cup lock scaffolds on uneven surfaces.
If the design requires a tight bolt, you can drill a spigot to insert it.
The horizontal components of cup lock systems are known as ledgers and transoms. At Scaxa, we ensure the symmetrical assembly of components and structures by building 1.8-meter horizontal plates, as they offer flexibility. 1.3-meter transoms have a 5-panel platform and a 2.5-meter bay that is secured with cup lock access structures. In cuplock, regular horizontals also act as handrails.
Universal jacks are adjustable screw jacks that you can use to level scaffold on uneven ground. At Scaxa, we built universal jacks with a load-bearing capacity of 74kN and a 0.5-meter adjustment option that you can use to adjust access and support structures with uneven ground or surface levels. You can attach our universal jacks with the base and headboard using standard nuts and bolts.
Intermediate transoms are designed to support 38mm scaffolding boards midway between internal and external ledgers. To prevent dislocation, we create transoms with jaw-like angles at each end. One end has an integrated locking device. We offer standard, intermediate transoms for cup lock scaffolding systems. Hop-up brackets are specialized brackets used to extend scaffolding work platforms. Our hop-up brackets can extend the working platform width to seven or eight panels. They feature a cup joint on our end so that you can install an internal ledger. Hop-up brackets support the railing post and intermediate crossbar.
